Hunter is one of twenty jobs available to players. They are the masters of the wild, and are usually found wielding a bow and arrow.
Income and Experience
Hunters gain money and experience for killing mobs with the bow and arrow, butchering animals, and hunting with wolves. (/j info Hunter)
Containment Egg Crafting
(Level 5+) Hunters get the ability to create containment eggs, which allow players to capture a variety of mobs. This makes the mob into a spawn egg, which can then be used in your own town, or sold to other players.

Spawn Egg Crafting
(Level 10+) Hunters get the ability to craft Spawn Eggs by combining the corresponding items using a Crafting Bench or using the /craft command. These may then be used to directly spawn a mob by right-clicking with the Spawn Egg in hand on the spot you would like your mob to be, but they can only be spawned inside your own town. They will spawn wild, so mobs like Horses, Ocelots, and Wolves must still be tamed after they have been spawned. As the hunter levels up, they will unlock more spawn egg recipes over time.
- Note all items must be spread out in the crafting area.

(Level 10+) Hunters can use special arrows to attack their foes. Left-click with a bow in order to toggle between different arrow types. Special arrows are an ability from XoArrows.

(Level 10+) Hunters can track different animals, mobs, and players using the /track command. Using /track will search in a horizontal radius of 100 blocks with a vertical check of +/-32 blocks. Using /track stop will stop tracking.

(Level 10+) Hunters can craft traps in order to catch passive mobs.
- Craft a trap and place it in the a area with mob spawns enabled
- Wait 10-15 minutes for the animal to be trapped (the animal will be visible, spinning in the trap)
- Right click or break the trap to release the animal
Different animal traps are crafted with different items in the center:

Some animals can only be trapped in specific biomes:
- Wolf: Forest/Taiga
- Ocelot: Jungle
- Squid: River/Ocean
- Mooshroom: Mushroom Island
