Chest Claim is a system used to remove other players chests from your town that no longer reside there, as well as keep Chest Shops organized. Whether you're receiving event items or receiving containers from your mayor it all goes to your Chest Claim.

Instructions

Sending containers Chest Claim is easy - simply use the command /cc while looking at the container. You may /cc containers that you own to yourself only if you have a different home server than what the server the chests are on (Ex. Moving from Vega -> Sol, Sol being your homeserver now, you may /cc any chests owned by you on Vega). As (deputy-) mayor you may /cc any town member or any players containers that are in the proximity of your town. Staff also have the ability to /cc chests to players claims, regardless of ranks.
When using the /cc command the container will go to the owners /claim. Containers sent to other players will show the following message - "Successfully sent container to: (Players Name)" - confirming it worked and showing who the container got sent to.
Claiming items in your claim is easy as well, just use /claim in-game to view a list of current items in your claim. If you have anything in your claim a message in grey will show upon logging in. When ready to claim items you may notice that there are multiple options for claiming, as shown below.

  • Selecting Inv will take all items from the claim slot and put it in your inventory. If there are not enough slots in your inventory the claim will be canceled.

  • Selecting Chest will take all items from the claim slot and put it into the chest you are currently looking at. If there are not enough slots in the chest the claim will be canceled.

  • Hovering over an item with a number, such as [1] [2] [3] etc. will show the name of the item, effects it may give, lore etc.. Clicking on these numbers will also send the specified item to your inventory.

All commands in blue are interactive, while hovering over the orange 'title' (Ex. Lost and Found) will show who sent it.

Commands

With Chest Claim you can also use commands instead of interactive chat. Here are the commands that might help you out.
/claim - Opens the claim menu to see what you have, or if you have anything in claim.
/cc - Sends a container you are looking at to the owners claim. Can not be used on your own chests. Only usable by (deputy-) mayor and staff.
/claim (#) - Claims the entire slot specified into your inventory.
/claim (#) chest - Claims the entire slot specified into a chest you are looking at.
/claim all - Claims everything in your Chest Claim to your inventory. When there are no more slots the rest of the items will remain in Chest Claim.
/claim all chest - Claims everything in your Chest Claim to a chest you are looking at. When there are no more slots the rest of the items will remain in Chest Claim.

Notes

  • DO NOT send massive amounts of chests to your claim at once, as this can result in loss of items.
    • Chest Claim is not a storage system - please do not treat it as so.
      • Players items may not be replaced if they were lost when massive amounts of items were in claim, or if the above applies.
  • Staff are not a moving service, do not beg them to /cc chests for you if you can do it yourself.
    • When moving from town to town on the same server and your mayor is inactive for 24 hours or more you may ask staff for assistance.
  • Full sell Chest Shops will be sent to your Chest Claim (players selling to you). This also applies to empty buy Chest Shops (players buying from you). This can be changed by doing /pref keepfullbuyshops and /pref keepemptysellshops respectively.

Loss of small claim amounts and restoration will be determined by the staff leads and may be posted on the help request forum here.
